As some of you may know, next week I will be starting a new chapter in my life. On Monday, I will begin a program to get my MS in Clinical Nutrition at NYU! I am super excited about this and can’t wait to see where it takes me. However, it does mean that I will be reworking some things with the blog so that it can grow with this change and keep evolving.
Please bear with me as I try to figure this all out, but I am hoping to begin two new post series, one about food prep and another about what I’m learning in my classes. I will of course still post Recipes and other Thoughts but they might not be every week, depending on how crazy my schedule gets.
You may have noticed that I was originally trying to keep a consistent schedule for my posts (a recipe every Tuesday and a thought every Thursday) but I do not think this will be feasible going forward. I will continue to post as many times a week as I can but I don’t think I’ll be able to hold myself to a strict Tuesday/Thursday schedule. I will still let y’all know via Facebook, Twitter and Instgram when a new post is up, so you wont miss them!
Here is a basic idea of the new post series that I will be adding to the blog as I go back to school:
Food Prep 101: As I am going to be getting back in the swing of attending classes and (hopefully) starting a new job, I will have to get back into the habit of doing weekly food prep. And I know a lot of you out there can also benefit from different tricks and tips or just reminders of things that can be done before hand to make cooking during the week easier.
What I Learned: Since I will be spending my weeks in classes, I figured I should share what I’m learning with you! These will probably be fairly short posts with some interesting tidbits about what I learned that week. This will definitely evolve as I begin to take classes and I see where they take me.
I’m so excited to be stating this new chapter of my life and sharing it with y’all! Hopefully we can all learn something.
