Tidbits

Tidbits are morsels for your brain. They are a collection of articles, videos and websites from around the interweb that I find interesting and want to share.

Movement:

Yet anther article talking about the health benefits of standing more.

I've always been given crap for talking with my hands, this article points out that this might actually be a good thing for brain development.

This video is from one of my favorite movement experts. It's a progression to help you achieve one of the most stable body positions - the hollow body. It is also the best way to work the lower abs and pelvis tilt.

Recipe:

The most brilliant part of this recipe is the idea of using mushrooms as jerky. I, for one, can't wait to try it.

Nutrition/Diet:

This article is a great, simple run down of why experimenting with your diet is a fantastic idea.

We often take supplements thinking that they can counteract a nutritionally poor diet, but this article shows that fish oil supplementation is not supported by research.

If you want a good, balanced look at the real issues in nutrition this article provides a nice place to start.

Dr. Eades takes on Dr. Ornish's most recent attack on meat using facts - imagine that! in this short post.

Agriculture:

If you've never thought about the idea of "soil health" and it's impact on our future food, this article is a good place to start.
