When: Breakfast 8/19/15 - Fruit and the standards
Where: At home
Ingredients: Eggs, bacon, figs, plantains and raspberries.
What I Ate: I love my breakfast standards, but sometimes I need a bit more or I just want a change. In this case I decided to add some fruit to the mix.
I kept the raspberries raw, but the plantain coins and the fig halves were pan fried in some coconut oil. It crisps the plantains up nicely and caramelizes the figs - win/win.
The fig halves in coconut oil has been a big favorite of mine lately. Try it out, they really are yummy!
