Where: My parent's house
Ingredients: Pork ribs, home fermented sauerkraut, and asparagus
What I Ate: My mom marinated these ribs for hours while we ran around town. All she had to do was set it up and let them do their thing until they were ready to cook. What exactly she used, I'm not sure - that's part of the fun of visiting my parents, I don't have to think about feeding myself!
My mom also kept this meal simple to prepare by pairing it with already-made sauerkraut and quickly steamed asparagus. Eating real, whole, nutrient-dense food does not have to be time consuming; it just takes some practice!
